i've started to believe in making things that work. and if it works there's not a single reason to add 16 levels of abstractions to it. performance matters and it hits hard to know you've messed up your system if it loads slower than common sense in our government meetings.
btw, i'm not channeling some go minimal bullshit here. but this approach fucking works every single time. it’s real, it’s gritty, and it gets things done. you either get it or you don't.
if you boil everything down, life is all easing things up & life gets pretty damn good when you actually focus on what matters. everything’s abstracted now for ease but abstractions suck. still, sometimes they make life easier. it’s a mad war between simplicity and control. you choose where to draw the line.
