i've started to believe in making things that work. and if it works, don't add 16 levels of abstractions to it. if your app/site loads slower than a snail on ganja, you messed it up and you're doing it wrong. performance matters.
i'm not channeling some go minimal bullshit here. but this approach fucking works. it's honest, it's gritty, it's in-your-face. so either get on board or get out of the way.
life. it's all about good people, better friends, and those nights of fucking madness. life gets pretty damn good when you actually focus on what matters. there's this japanese concept called wabi-sabi - finding beauty in imperfection. that's my fucking jam. your code, your life, doesn't need to be perfect. it needs to work, to have character, to be real. you need to embrace the chaos.
it might sound crazy, but fuck it, it's honest. and sometimes, that's all that matters.
